The Particle Projectile Gun.
The Particle Projectile Rifle is a Xeno Caretaker gun used by Grunts in the War of Judgement. It shoots (most likely) super-heated particles that damage the target. They are probaly mass produced rather quickly seeing the number of Grunts encountered in N.O.V.A.. The Particle Rifle does not cause too much damage to the player's shields, making it a minor problem.

- The gun only appears in the first N.O.V.A. game
- It cannot be picked up by the player at any stage, hence it's never seen in much detail.
