Skull Crushers are Volterite Berserkers that carry Melee Discs. They attack by throwing their discs and/or punching with them.
N.O.V.A. 2[]
In N.O.V.A. 2 Skull crushers appear as heavily armoured elite volterite berserkers. They throw one of their melee discs and melee with the other. They only appear on Sagitaurus and SkyCity. It takes powerful weapons such as the Plasma Rifle or Rocket Launcher to be used effectivly aganst them.

Skull Crushers have gone through a few changes in N.O.V.A 3, particularly in their attacks. they like the rest of the Volterites are black with glowing red eyes. Their armour is significantly smaller and weaker, but are also much faster, and extremely deadly if they get too close to you. Skull Crushers throw both melee discs and attack with their fists for less damage. They can be killed with at two to three shotgun blasts. A flamethrower is most effective against it as well. Like all other non-boss enemies, a single shot from a rocket launcher will easily take it out.
